Investments of related parties

Transparency is the basis of trust. In accordance with the provisions of article 8.2 of the European Regulation 1503/2020, we make available to any user of our platform the information regarding investments made in projects by persons related to the entity. As established, Capital Cell informs its users that it accepts related persons as investors, when the following requirements are met.

Who are these "related persons"?
These are managing partners, employees of the company or natural/legal persons related to them. Following the indications of the current regulations, if any of them participates as an investor in a project published on our platform, Capital Cell undertakes that:

• Be made public in a clear and accessible manner.
• Indicate in which project they have Invested and the amount of their investment.
• It is guaranteed that they have done so under the same conditions as any other investor, without preferential treatment or privileged access to information.

In this way, we ensure that all users of Capital Cell can invest with the peace of mind of knowing that the rules of the game are the same for everyone.

Do these connected people invest in the best projects?

At no time should these investments be understood as an indication that a project is better or worse.

The employees and related persons of Capital Celllike all other investors, tend to make diversified investments in those projects that are of most interest to them - because of the subject matter, their particular maturity, risk or potential profile, or sometimes simply because they like the project's founding team. 

These one-off investments should by no means be taken as an indication that "we know something the public doesn't," but merely as an expression of each employee's tastes and (generally limited) personal investment capacity - because, if we had more capital, we would probably invest in all the projects we publish.
